BEECH ISLAND
FIRE DEPARTMENT
Servicing the Public Since 1956
|
Welcome to the online home of the Beech Island Fire Department. Located
in the bluffs above the Savannah River, the citizens of Beech Island have
come to rely on the Fire Department for its protection for over 50 years.
Officially established in 1956, Beech Island Fire Department covers
approximately 69 square miles in Aiken County, making it one of the
biggest fire departments in the county.
It is our mission to give the citizens of Beech Island and those who travel
through the best care possible. We operate three stations around the
district which puts every resident within five square miles of a station.
Beech Island is home to several major manufacturing companies which
also rely on the fire department for its protection. Companies such as
Kimberly-Clark, Pactiv, and SCE&G all look towards the department to
respond should the need arise.
Like most volunteer agencies, the Beech Island Fire Department is always
looking for new members young or old. Please feel free to look around and
learn about us.
